Picking the perfect invisible diamond ring set can be a challenging task, especially when faced with all of the other challenges of engagement. An invisible set diamond ring means that the setting on which the diamond is sitting is invisible. This can be good for several reasons. First, if the setting is completely clear, it will allow more light to pass through the diamond, thus making the diamond appear more beautiful than if there were a visible setting there getting in the way. After all, isn’t the point of an engagement ring to accent the diamond? If you are choosing a very large diamond, you may want to consider the invisible setting because it will make the diamond look that much larger with minimal effort on your part.

Additionally, the invisible setting will save on the cost of the ring because the invisible setting is likely to be made out of some sort of strong plastic or glass, and that takes away some of the total carat weight of whatever metal you are choosing for the rest of the band. By saving this money on the setting, you might be able to choose a larger diamond, or a more expensive metal and create an overall better ring.

Because the setting will be made out of something other than metal, its likely that you will be able to get it adjusted easier if need be. Certain metals are often very difficult to adjust, should you choose to upgrade the diamond at a later time. With the invisible setting, you will have no trouble upgrading your ring at a minimal cost and wait time, while improving the ring at the same time.
